Student-Athletes: We may collect:

  • Full name, university email, and personal contact email
  • Phone number, school, sport, graduation year
  • Career interests, biography, profile photo
  • Resume files and AI-generated career materials
  • Account activity and verification status
  • Terms acceptance records

Employers: We may collect:

  • Company name, industry, location, website
  • Recruiter name, title, email, and phone number
  • Job postings and hiring preferences

Usage Data: We automatically collect limited usage data such as page views, job saves, and application clicks to improve platform functionality.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage accounts
  • Verify eligibility
  • Connect athletes and employers
  • Deliver platform communications
  • Provide AI-assisted career tools
  • Improve platform performance
  • Enforce our Terms and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal data to third-party marketers.

3. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill legal obligations.

If you request account deletion, we will remove personal profile information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or operational purposes.

Aggregated or anonymized usage data may be retained.

5. Employer Access to Athlete Information

Verified employers may view:

  • Name, school, sport, graduation year, career interests
  • Profile biography, photo, and resume (if provided)
  • Contact email where provided and consistent with athlete profile settings

Employers may only use athlete data for recruiting-related purposes and may not sell, share, or misuse that information.

Bridge may revoke access for misuse.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted transmission, secure infrastructure, and restricted internal access.

No system is completely secure, and users should protect account credentials.

7. Third-Party Providers

We use third-party providers for:

  • Email delivery
  • Cloud storage
  • Database hosting
  • AI-assisted content generation

These providers process data on our behalf solely to support platform functionality.

8. Age Restrictions

Bridge is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted with a revised Effective Date, and continued use of Bridge constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
